Light and shadow have always spoken to us in a way nothing else has. There’s something about the way they shift moods, tell silent stories, and make a space feel alive that’s always drawn us in. Designing lights, for us, isn’t just about how they look. It’s emotional. It’s about warmth, softness, and the comfort of things made by hand.

With Tales of Kaarigari, we wanted to bring that feeling into people’s homes. To create something that doesn’t just sit pretty but feels meaningful. Each piece is made slowly and thoughtfully, by hands that carry stories of their own. Light just felt like the most honest way to express all of that.

Our background in design and construction has shaped how we see this brand and what we want it to stand for. From the beginning, we’ve been mindful of how we create — trying to reuse materials, reduce waste, and make the most of what we have. Not just as a practice, but as a way of thinking. These small steps reflect what we truly care about and will continue to guide us as we grow.

At the core of it, Tales of Kaarigari is about creating pieces that feel intentional — both in how they’re made and how they’re meant to be lived with.

And we’re only just getting started. While lights are where we began, TOK has so much more to offer. The dream is to build a world of thoughtful, handcrafted home decor.
